John Morris, a partner at McKay, Burton & Thurman, leads a team dedicated to providing legal services to Condominium and other community associations.  John Morris graduated in the top 10% of his class from the University of Utah law school in 1994 and served on the Utah Law Review.  He lived in a Condominium for many years, serving at various times as the President of the Association, the Vice President of the Association, Secretary of the Association, a board member, and ultimately as counsel for the association.  He currently assists more than fifty condominium and PUD Associations with various legal matters including the review and amendment of declarations and bylaws, assessment collections, owner bankruptcies, property and easement issues, vender disputes, complex litigation, and many other types of legal matters.  He is also active in current legislative activities in an effort to modernize and clarify the law.
